Client:  I don’t need an exhaust hood, it’ll be fine!

Mechanical engineer:

When you boil water while cooking, it turns into vapor and mixes with the surrounding air. As more water evaporates, the air becomes increasingly saturated until it can no longer hold additional moisture.

On a cold winter day, this excess water vapor condenses on glass surfaces, turning back into liquid and dripping down the window. This can lead to several issues:

  • Customers outside may have difficulty seeing your products.

  • Mold and mildew can develop on the window sill.

  • Staff and customers may raise concerns about indoor air quality.

To prevent these problems, always follow the advice of professionals.
