A concerned citizen reached out to us regarding a restaurant owner who built their own commercial kitchen without permits, licensed trades or mechanical engineers.
The most concerning issue is the kitchen exhaust fan pointing directly at a large tree. This tree if ignited could collapse on adjacent properties and place the occupants at risk.
As I have mentioned before to new restaurant owners:
Even if the city does not require a mechanical engineer or licensed trades, etc. building your restaurant by yourself places yourself, the occupants and the public at risk.
Please hire the right people and build safe everyone!
